Oase Proficlear Modular FiltersThe Oase Proficlear Modular Filter system is the ultimate in pond water cleaning. Suitable for gravity fed or pump fed installations, the modular design allows you to choose the most suitable filter media combinations to achieve the optimum pond eco system for your application; modules M3 (Filter Foam) and M4 (Bioballs) can be interchanged without affecting the filter performance. The modular function enables multiples rows of filters to be linked together, making the Proficlear filter range suitable for large bodies of water. Large water bodies such as golf course waterways, lakes and zoological ponds can be effectively managed.
Gravity fed systems
 | The advantages of the Gravity feed system:
- Effective removal of suspended matter, as the debris ends up in the coarse debris extractor module without pumping.
- Lower energy consumption, as there is virtually no height differential and only low friction losses.
- Easy to hide.
- Simple extension to the system is possible.

Proficlear Filters Gravity Fed Configuration example 1:
| Ponds without fish stock: | Ponds with low fish stock | Ponds with large fish stock (Koi ponds): | | 40 m2 | 20 m2 | 10 m2 | max. flow rate 12,500 litres per hour
|
 | M2 – Extractor module M3 – Filter foam module M1 – Pump chamber |
Proficlear Filters Gravity Fed Configuration example 2:
| Ponds without fish stock: | Ponds with low fish stock | Ponds with large fish stock (Koi ponds): | | 80 m2 | 40 m2 | 20 m2 | | max. flow rate 12,500 litres per hour |
 | M2 – Extractor module M3 – Filter foam module M4 – Bioballs filter module M5 – Phosphate absorption module M1 – Pump chamber |
Pump fed system (pump could be located in pond)
 | The advantages of the pump feed system:
- Can be easily retrofitted in existing ponds.
- Minimum installation effort.
- UVC devices can be simply pre-switched.
- Simple extension to the system is possible.

CALCULATION FOR THE CORRECT FILTRATION PUMP
1. Ponds without fish stock: pond volumes: turnover pond volume once every 8 hours (minimum) 2. Ponds with low fish stock:pond volumes: turnover pond volume once every 4 hours (minimum) 3. Ponds with large fish stock (Koi ponds):pond volumes: turnover pond volume once every 2 hours (minimum) The filter elements M3-foam filter element and M4-Bioball-filter element can be interchanged as desired!
