LG Sonic Ultrasonic Features Print E-mail

38% more effective than traditional ultrasonic algae control devices thanks to:

Dual Core-Multi Frequency technology TM

lg-features-1LG Sonic® devices are equipped with the DC-MF technology to ascertain that all different types of algae in your water are being controlled.
Because a water body normally contains several different types of algae, using only 1 frequency would not suffice as it would kill only one group of algae. The DC-MF technology effectively combines different frequencies, produced simultaneously, to address all algae in your water body.

Highly advanced broadband transducer with protected formula.

lg-features-2The LG Sonic® transducer has been especially designed for LG Sound and forms a perfect match with LG Sonic’s electronics.
This ensures the best transmission of ultrasound into the water with a minimum sound loss and frequency change, which makes the LG Sonic devices the most efficient ultrasonic units on the market today.

Less frequencies higher efficiency vision:

By only using effective frequencies, LG Sonic wastes no time in emitting the wrong ones which leads to a higher efficiency.
LG Sound has been cooperating closely together to determine the most optimum parameters to control different types of algae.
As a result, the LG Sonic combines only the correct frequencies, amplitudes and output powers to control algae efficiently. Because fewer frequencies are used that are more effective, the effective treatment time is longer.

Choose between different frequency programs.

Because water bodies are all different and can contain different algae, it is important to be able to use many different frequencies. In stead of putting them all in one program LG Sonic has 2 different frequency programs which are being programmed according to your application.

Low Power- Bright Signal Technology TM

lg-features-3

LG Sonic uses the LPBS technology to send out a sound signal under optimal conditions. This makes it unnecessary to apply high power to obtain a long range, increases the lifespan of the transducer and electronics and increases the “algae killing ability” because sound waves are not being distorted, dimmed or changed. Due to the highly advanced Lp-Bs technology TM , the  LG Sonic® models have a low power consumption of only 5 Watt.

Solar system available

lg-features-4

The LG Sonic units can also operate on 24 Volts DC using only 5 Watt. The complete standalone solar system and installation can be purchased from LG Sound.

24/7 GSM monitoring

lg-features-5

Because continuous operation is important to control algae effectively, all LG Sonic® devices can be equipped with a GSM monitoring system. With this handy option you can request the operation status of your device at any time, by sending your device an SMS message! Besides that, the GSM  monitoring system is programmed to send a text alert when the power is cut of for more then 3 hours Read more about GSM-module

Environmentally friendly

lg-features-6

LG Sonic offers algae control without chemicals.
LG Sonic can operate on solar power.

3 years guarantee, NSF/ANSI Standard 61 , CE and UL Standard

lg-features-7

LG Sonic offers a guarantee on the industrial units of 3 years. and  has been tested for certificated worldwide and comply to all regulations. Some of the safety standards LG Sonic units have:  CE, NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and UL

Safe for fish

lg-features-8

LG Sonic is safe for Fish, plants, insects and humans.
The effect of LG Sonic on different organisms have been tested by various organizations and universities, amongst others:
- University of Portsmouth, Catania and BOKU found the LG Sonic units are safe for Fish.
- The USDA-ARS Catfish Genetics Research Unit found that LG Sonis is safe for use with Catfish

Dual Tester

lg-features-9

A sound meter that is especially designed to measure the effective frequencies of LG Sonic to check its correct operation.
The Dual Tester can be used to test whether the electronic board is  producing all the correct frequencies by plugging it into the transducer output. Besides that, it can also be used to test the frequencies emitted into the water.

The Dual Tester has been set to match the correct frequencies that the LG Sonic is known for and do not measure any harmonic noise or useless frequencies, that a common dB meter would do. Read more…
